The following companies and vendors either provide essential or optional software and/or hardware that augments Audio Impressions’ libraries. These links are provided to assist you and are neither meant to endorse or exclude any company.

AudioMulch
Software that may be used to host the five 70 DVZ Strings Kontakt Player VSTs. This is not generally needed but can be helpful if (a) you are not using Vienna Ensemble Pro as a host when you are using an audio card in the sampler, and (b) you wish to have five discrete stereo stem outputs instead of the single stereo mix of the five section stems you get when using the Kontakt Player standalone included free with 70 DVZ Strings.

Apple Inc.
Makers of Macintosh computers and developers of OS-X as well as Bonjour (Print Services) for Windows, a free utility that the DVZ Core Engine uses to automatically discover the DVZ Sync Plug-in over a network.

FX-max
Vendor of GIGA VST Adapter, which wraps the standalone version of Tascam’s now obsolete GigaStudio sampler so it can be used in the AudioPort Universal Host.

fxpansion
Vendor of adapt, which is a VST to RTAS adapter that wraps the DVZ Sync Plug-in (for 70 DVZ Strings) so it can be used in ProTools.

j’s Stuff
Vendor of the jBridge software utility that allows the AudioPort Universal Host to use unlimited RAM in a 64-bit OS.

M-Audio
Makers of MIDI Keyboard Controllers, including the Oxygen 25 that we find useful as a key-switch controller.

MIDI-OX
Makers of MIDI-OX software, MIDI splitter software to also send the MIDI keyboard on the sequencer to the sampler via Ethernet; runs on windows sequencers up to Windows 7.

MusicLAB
Professional musical software developers of MIDIoverLAN CP (MolCp3). Note that for 70 DVZ Strings, you must use version 3.3.635 or higher of MolCp3, and not any earlier version.

Native Instruments
Developers of Kontakt Player software, and various virtual instruments.

Nerds
Professional musical software developers of ipMIDI for sending MIDI over the LAN.

Not-A-Hat
Developers of MIDI Patchbay, MIDI splitter software to also send the MIDI keyboard on the sequencer to the sampler via Ethernet; runs on a Macintosh OS-X sequencer.

Sion Soft
Developers of Hubi’s Loopback Driver, MIDI splitter software to also send the MIDI keyboard on the sequencer to the sampler via Ethernet; runs on windows sequencers up to Windows Vista.

Steinberg
Developers of the VST format (as well as Cubase, Nuendo and other music and audio software and hardware).

Vienna Ensemble Pro
Software useful for sending digital audio over Ethernet when a sampler computer hosting our Audio Impressions library is used in conjunction with your sequencer. In particular this software is useful for maximizing the CPU utilization of multi-core CPUs, enabling multiple Audio Impressions libraries to run on one powerful computer, or 70 DVZ Strings alone on a less powerful CPU. Because of it’s efficiency-boosting function, we also recommend using Vienna Ensemble Pro as a VST host even when there is no Ethernet audio requirement and you’re sending sound out of the DVZ sampler computer's sound card directly to a mixer or DAW.
